Get Paid to Write Now | Mastermind News

“I’m making money writing!”

Can I just tell you what an incredible high it is to hear from students who are doing this?! This past week alone I had several phone conversations and a few emails from readers who are taking action – and getting results. I can’t even sit still when I’m on these calls. The excitement they cause makes it impossible to just sit there – I’m wearing a path on our tile floor from pacing excitedly. : )

And forget about it on a day when I’ve had more than one cup of coffee!

It’s like turning a switch into the “on” position once you get me talking about people winning their LIBERTY by using the gift for writing that God gave them. It feels like walking on air! … and I’m completely addicted.

Lots of WWHW buyers have been asking about the Mastermind group – and I’ve been working on a major expansion on it for months. Before, it was structured in a way that I could really only have about 6 writers in it – it was very time-consuming on my end. So, how to efficiently give you the hands-on, step-by-step training on how to GET and DO different writing gigs -

  • who’s looking for writers to do these projects?
  • why would someone hire you for that?
  • what are they trying to accomplish? and knowing that, how can you wow them with your proposal?
  • what could you charge?
  • how do you actually DO these different projects?
  • what mistakes to avoid?
  • what else could you do as an add-on?
  • and lots of other questions…

See, my system for learning how to get paid to write really focuses on introducing you to the possibility of freelance writing – and how to create your own business, how to get writing gigs, that kind of thing. But I knew when I wrote it that there was no way I could go into the nuts and bolts of HOW to write different types of projects. I figured we’d figure that part out later! ha ha

It’s later.

I’m working on creating a series of mini-courses you can do at your own pace. No secrets held back – you’ll get everything I know about each kind of project: templates and examples, pricing, how to research, how to market… everything.

See, I know what happens when you go looking for work.

There’s this dichotomy – you’re hoping you get the gig AND you’re scared you’ll get the gig. Been there!

“Pretty sure” I can do this. But… what if….

But if I can equip you to be completely confident going in, knowing for sure that you know what you’re doing – you’ll be that much more empowered to build a writing business that changes your life.

More on this next time.

For now…

Let me know what skills and projects are on your wish list. If I can teach them (or find an expert), I’ll be sure to include them.

Hi Sue,
I’m in a bit of a dilemma, as I like writing different kind of stuff. While I like making money and writing all kind of stuff, I feel truely happy when I can pick my own topic and write the way I like without worrying about keywords and the like. For instance my articles on Triond, Associated Content, How to do things or my blogs are the ones I liked and when somebody reads them, I feel happier. So I still have two things in me, do technical writing ( especially to make money and also improve my writing skills and do creative ghostwriting and eventually write my own book.
Let me know what you think..am I silly :)
And btw, I do share that feeling of actually wanting something and then worrying whether I can handle it…..you as usual make me feel better :)

Hi Sue,

I am all for learning EVERYTHING, but if I had a wish, it would be to learn more about how to handle the “big ticket” items like Ebooks.

Laya – I totally get what you mean. There’s nothing like just writing from the heart about stuff that interests you. You’re not silly at ALL in that. Sounds like a session about information marketing would be right up your alley. Info marketing… check! It’s on the list : )
