Earn Money Writing for Local Clients: Reason #3 – Talking $ is easy

Part of why I was hesitant to earn money writing for local clients before was that I dreaded having the money conversation.

Honestly, I guess I wasn’t in touch with the value of my services. Writing is easy for me, so it’s probably easy for everyone, right? (he he he) If they wanted writing done, they’d do it themselves… for free. And that look of shock and horror when I quoted projects didn’t do much for me in the feeling good department, either.

But I learned two things in LBMM that made this a totally new experience – one that’s actually fun.

1. A simple question to ask AT THE BEGINNING that totally eliminates the awkwardness over discussing money.
2. An entire skill set (SO closely tied to the stuff we already know how to do as writers) that makes this service totally irresistible to local clients who want to dominate the search engines in their area.

I was nervous at first on both of these, but very quickly started seeing results.

My whole concept of the value of my team’s services has had a major makeover. Now I’d feel bad about NOT giving a local business the opportunity to work with us. And because it’s something I can completely customize to their budget, it’s a no-brainer for them to say, “YES!”

Because of the results we’ve gotten for some of these clients so far (and it’s really just been a few months), I can point to a track record that has prospective clients all over the country calling.

See, “local clients” aren’t necessarily limited to LOCAL to YOU. It’s really just clients who rely on feet coming through the door of their businesses. Local Business Money Machine works for that kind of client anywhere.
